It is the association’s intent to amass a sizable amount in the fund so that future scholarships can be awarded from the interest earned without touching the principal.  This practice will ensure the scholarship fund remains in a perpetual state of being.  It is also the intent of the association to increase the number of scholarships awarded annually as well as the dollar amount of each individual scholarship.  The scholarship(s) will be apportioned over a 4-year period; therefore, and as an example, a $2000.00 scholarship award would be apportioned at the rate of $500.00 annually.
