Ed O'uinn at the controls of 'the Pig', a 20MM Cannon and 24 - 2.75" rockets, 64-13983 - UH-1B - T-Bird 8. I think that is Don Begay flying gunner in the right seat.It was taken lest than two weeks after Lt Dadante and Dan Regan received their calling. I joined the T-birds as a Fire Team Leader about Sep 10th and flew right seat about two weeks. This picture was while I was flying right seat. You are our right wing and I took the picture. That would place it in the last half of Sep 65.

31-Delta Airlines was contacted and sent us playing cards, dice and stickers saying "fly Delta's big Jets". It was pasted on all of our slicks

Here is another picture that you will like this is the means of getting water from the water supply to the actual work site. We offered to loan them a water hose and they told us that would put two guys out of work.

Here is a picture of one of the first nose arts before they were fancied up a little. In fact, I think this is a picture taken on the very first Combat Assault that the 'Warriors' were on.

Here is a picture of Cpt Miller as T-bird chief and some of the other pilots are O'Quinn, Wotkyns, Johnston and Densley, I don't know who has his back to the camera. I was still flying slicks, this picture was taken on the mission that Reagan and Dadante's ship was lost and they were KIA, they were supporting myself and Lt Ken Pelfrey. This is at the assembly area on Cau Mau airfield.
