This picture was taken during the VHCMA Reunion in Denver '99. Top is John Hubbs, 227th Cav, during his first jump ever. Chuck Slezak is below with two chutes, Chuck ran into some trouble in the light air of Denver and his reserve chute and main chute both opened on this jump!

This is the latest one of my (Chuck Slezak) last jump Sunday night, 8/15/99. It was my 600th jump. 14 of us formed a 600 in the sky. I am in the top left section, the second one in the tail of the 6. I'm in the white jump suit and black helmet.

After two days of  touring the White House, this was the only uniformed (military) individual I saw, and you will notice he is outside in the cold: That is Nancy C. Andreasen, MD PhD posing with him:

"Three Handsome Guys" or "Two Handsome Guys, One Aviator"

This is Joe Galloway, who along with Hal Moore(LTG Ret) authored " WE WERE SOLDIERS ONCE AND YOUNG", maybe the finest book to come out of Vietnam: The second individual is me ( Terry Gwinn), and the third is Gus Cianciolo (LTG Ret). I have known Gus and his wife Sheila since for 34 years they don't come any better:

The picture of Elephant Grass in RVN. Mike Brown does not know where in Vietnam he took it, he was flying out of PHU-LOI.

Dave Johnson

This fence painting was made from a composite of three photos of James (J.C.) Jones, Dave Johnson, and George Kerrigan, all 67-15 and the original three Little Eagles of HHC 3d Bgde., 101st. George Kerrigan owns the trailer park just outside the Daleville gate at Ft. Rucker and had his fence painted in 1999 to memorialize us. The full fence I believe is about 80 feet long and includes an insertion scene and also The Wall.

The WestPoint 97 NY/NJ Chapter 101st ABN Div. Assoc "Bastogne" Christmas Banquet. Standing with his hands over Andrew Hyman's baldhead is Smokey Stover. Next to Hyman is Martin DiOrio. Lady in blue blouse is Rachel Torrance. Right of Rachel is Nancy Morris. The NY/NJ Chapter of the 101st Association holds an annual dinner in remembrance of the 101st Airborne Division's heroic and successful defense of Bastogne, Christmas 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge. The Chapter is called the General Anthony C. McAuliffe Chapter in honor of Tony, the acting CG, who when asked by the Germans to surrender, sent the couriers back with the one word reply, "Nuts!" (Explained to them by one of the interpreters to mean "f... you). Typical Comanchero.
